Just a couple of my passions include the Culinary Arts and Healthy Living. My desire to share both was the inspiration behind the charity, Midwest Ambassadors for the Culinary Arts (MACA). MACA is a non-profit that was created to support culinary education at the college and high school levels along with awareness of the culinary arts as being a noble profession in Northeast Missouri and Southeast Iowa. The goal of each event is to bring together like minded foodies with an amazing, usually 6 course meal with wine pairings.
When you join us for the MACA events you will experience delectable meals prepared and served by world class chef, Gordon Rader. Along with Chef Gordon, students of the local culinary arts college are there to ensure that your evening is not just delicious but an experience for the books. To date MACA has just about reached their $10,000 goal in contributions that have funded college scholarships and equipment for culinary arts programs in local high schools.
The cost for each event is $100 per person which includes food, labor, wine and event costs only. Randy & I cover all administrative and venue costs. We hope you will join us at our next MACA event and are sure when you experience it you will be excited for the next one.
